About the museum
The museum is set up on the piano nobile of Palazzo Bighetti in Costa di Rovigo, a village along the Adigetto. The route opens with an introduction to the geography and geomorphology of the area and is built around the rhythm of the seasons, which set the pace of agricultural work.
The collections include farm tools used in the different seasons, which document rural life with its hardships and rituals; tools of craftsmen such as the cobbler and the carpenter; and a typical early 20th-century kitchen with period crockery and a sewing machine, an important tool of women's work for the family economy of the time.
