About the museum
The museum is located in Casamazzagno, a hamlet of Comelico Superiore, in a typical Comelico house converted into a place of memory. The route passes through rooms furnished as they once were, with objects and tools of everyday life between the 19th and 20th centuries: the kitchen, the bedrooms and the work spaces. The visit is completed by some testimonies from the First World War.
The museum was set up to preserve the way of life and the traditions of the valley’s people between the 19th and 20th centuries, and has been open to visitors since 1987.
