About the museum
In 1998 an ethnographic section named after Lazzaro Acquarone was added to the Museo d’Arte Sacra (Museum of Sacred Art) in Lucinasco. It is housed in an old hayloft within the village and documents work in the fields and the traditions linked to olive cultivation.
On the upper floor is the crafts room, with tools of carpenters, blacksmiths and coopers. The route includes a restored oil mill driven by animal power, a traditional cellar and stable. Beside the Oratorio dei Disciplinanti stands a farmhouse that was occupied by a shepherd in the early 20th century.
