About the museum
The PAM - Parete Art Museum was founded in 2018 inside the Palazzo Ducale in Parete, in the Caserta area, and is run by the cultural association La Tenda, active in the town since 2009. The rooms were designed to balance the historical and artistic value of the building with the museum’s permanent collection and temporary exhibitions.
The activity covers visual arts, design and virtual reality. The declared aim is to make PAM a centre of cultural production and artistic experimentation, able to attract visitors from the region and across Italy and to contribute to the revitalisation of the place and its community.
In the same Palazzo Ducale complex is the Museo della Fragola (Strawberry Museum), also run by the association. The two museums aim to create synergies across the area, enhancing local natural, landscape and architectural resources and promoting more sustainable forms of tourism.
