About the museum
The Museo Premio Ermanno Casoli 1998-2007 is set up in the rooms of the former refectory of the Santa Lucia monastic complex in Serra San Quirico, the same complex that houses the office and Infopoint of the Gola della Rossa e di Frasassi Regional Nature Park, the Museo di Storia Naturale del Territorio and the Cartoteca Storica Regionale delle Marche (Regional Historical Map Library of the Marche).
The collection brings together more than forty contemporary artworks gathered over the ten editions of the prize dedicated to the memory of Ermanno Casoli, founder of the company Elica. The museum hosts works by artists from all over the world, which exemplify very different artistic languages.
The entrance to the route is enriched by the site-specific work “The Relay” by Patrick Tuttofuoco, made for the celebrations of the twentieth anniversary of the first edition of the prize.
