About the museum
The Retro velo muzejs was created by the Kuldīga bicycle enthusiasts’ community “Ciskdrill”. The museum displays restored retro bicycles; alongside there is a bicycle restoration workshop and rental of elegant retro bicycles. Each bicycle has its own story, which the bicycle enthusiasts tell visitors.
In addition to the bicycles, Juris Vilsons’ private collection of matchboxes and needles can be seen, made in Kuldīga, elsewhere in Latvia and beyond.
