About the museum
The exhibits gathered in the Šiauliai Cinema Museum tell of the filmmaking process, the equipment, the authors, the cinema history of the city and the events held in the city. Filming equipment, cinema documents, posters and trophies are on display.
The museum has a small 50-seat hall where old archive films made in Šiauliai, from 1928 to the present day, can be seen. Film premieres, meetings with directors and retrospective programmes are held here.
