About the museum
The Föreningen Veteranjärnvägen Klippan–Ljungbyhed was formed by committed railway enthusiasts who want to preserve the old railway culture and the railway history of Skåne. The association owns many locomotives and carriages, among them vehicles that have run on the private railways of Skåne or were built in Skåne.
The line between Klippan and Ljungbyhed belongs to the association. For a period it was upgraded with the aim of resuming museum train services with the vehicles. Today the best-known visitor activity is rail cycling along the 6.5-kilometre route through oak and beech forest, cultivated land and over bridges. The starting point is the old station at Nybygget, and at the end of the line the rail bike is turned around and cycled back.

The starting point Nybygget is about 500 metres from the roundabout at road 21 and road 13 towards Ljungbyhed, by Maskinistvägen.

| Good to know | Rail bikes are only rented out in the company of an adult (aged 18 or over). Each rail bike may carry at most two adults, or one adult and two children under 10, or two adults and one small child. Children and young people may not cycle alone, and the rail bike is led across road crossings and switches. The combination of canoeing from Ljungbyhed to Forsmöllan and rail cycling back is also available and can be booked through Rönneådalens Sport & Fritid. |
