About the museum

Traktorängens museum is a family-owned museum in Sandskogen outside Ystad. It was founded by the tractor enthusiast Tor Lasson. After he died in 2018, the family took over and runs the collection.

The collection consists of veteran tractors, mostly of the Zetor make, but also GMW and Porsche, among others. Different sources give the number of tractors as between about thirty and about fifty.

The museum is open one weekend a year. During the nostalgia days visitors can ride on a tractor with a wagon, take part in a tractor quiz run (traktortipsrunda) and buy home-baked fika, ice cream and sausage with bread. Anyone who comes in their own veteran tractor or other veteran vehicle is treated to sausage with bread.
